Which Skip?

It is vital you choose the right skip to fill to a level load, we cannot accept overloaded skips. Any overloaded skips will incur additional charges, or we will reduce to a level load.
Restricted Items
Skips are for general and safe waste only, this means no fridges, paints, solvents, asbestos or gas cylinders.
Mini Skip Hire
Our 2-Yard Skips are ideal for smaller projects, holding 2 cubic metres of waste or approximately 20-25 standard black bin bags. It is most suitable for small DIY jobs or shed, room and garden clearances. Mini skips are suitable for placing on building sites that only generate small amounts of waste. They will keep the site tidy and only take up minimal space. The mini skip is not suitable for furniture, doors, or other bulky items. These skips are only suitable for driveways and private land, they should not be on public pathways.

Midi Skip Hire
The 4-yard midi skip is great for those bigger projects with heavy material waste or soil. Holding up to 4 tonnes of waste which is around 65 – 70 full standard black bin bags. This skip is almost 7 feet long therefore it holds long items such as doors and radiators. It is commonly used for replacing old kitchens or digging footings for conservatory bases and garden landscaping. Midi skips are also available with easy load ends for use with a wheelbarrow.

If your skip is going anywhere other than your driveway, garden or private land you will need a skip permit. We can arrange this for you, simply let us know on booking and we will add the additional charges.

Our 8-yard skips are the most popular choice for various tradesmen across the area. Holding up to 8 tonnes of waste they can be filled with heavier items such as kitchen and bathroom rip-outs. Perfect for landscaping projects with heavy soil and green waste.
