You can book your skip delivery through our website. Our online calendar shows available delivery dates and time slots based on current demand and capacity.
Same-day and next-day delivery may be available depending on availability.
5.2 Selecting Your Delivery Date

6. Delivery Requirements
6.1 Access
You are responsible for ensuring that our delivery vehicle can access your property. Our skip lorries require:
– Adequate road width for a large vehicle.
– Sufficient overhead clearance (no low trees, cables, or structures).
– A firm, level surface for skip placement.
Please ensure any gates are unlocked or opened, and vehicles are moved to allow access.
6.2 Placement Location
Please provide clear instructions on where you would like the skip placed. Consider the following:
– **On private land (driveways, gardens, private car parks):** No permit is required, but you must have permission from the landowner.
– **On the public highway (roads, pavements, grass verges):** A road permit is required by law (see Section 7).
Skips should not block access to neighbouring properties, drains, or fire hydrants.
6.3 Ground Conditions
We are not responsible for damage to surfaces caused by the weight of the skip or its contents, unless caused by our negligence. If you are concerned about potential damage to your driveway or garden, consider placing protective boards beneath the skip.
—
7. Road Permits
7.1 When Is a Permit Required?
A road permit is required if the skip is placed on any public highway, including:
– Public roads
– Pavements and footpaths
– Grass verges
7.2 How to Arrange a Permit
We can arrange the road permit on your behalf for an additional fee. This option is available at checkout when you book online.
7.3 Notice Required
Road permits require a minimum of **5 working days’ notice** to arrange with the local council.
If you require a permit but book with fewer than 5 working days’ notice, your delivery may be delayed until the permit is obtained. Alternatively, you may need to arrange placement on private land.
7.4 Permit Conditions
Road permits typically require the skip to be:
– Clearly marked with reflective tape or painted markings.
– Lit at night with amber lights or cones (we may provide these, but you are responsible for ensuring they remain in place during the hire period).
– Positioned in accordance with council requirements.
—
8. Failed Deliveries
If our driver arrives at your property and is unable to deliver the skip due to any of the following reasons, a **failed delivery charge of £80** will apply:
– Access is blocked or insufficient for our vehicle.
– The placement location is unsafe or unsuitable.
– A road permit is required but has not been arranged.
– No one is available to confirm placement (where required).
– Incorrect address or postcode provided.
If a failed delivery occurs, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery date, subject to availability and payment of any outstanding charges.
—
